Continuing Education Submissions

Twenty four (24) CEUs are required every two years to maintain your registration with the Board.

The Board conducts random audits of continuing education annually. When notified of selection for random audit, you will be required to submit documentation of completion of 24 hours of CE.

If currently credentialed with the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) and the Nevada Board, please use the NEHA CEU reporting process. The NEHA training record is acceptable for audit purposes.

If not credentialed with NEHA, you must retain and track your CEUs manually. Retain your certificates or documentation of attendance, verification of course, seminar or conference content which identifies the dates and hours of the continuing education. If certificates are not awarded for the CE activity, a letter from a third-party associated with or knowledgeable of the activity will be accepted, such as the event sponsor, employer or direct supervisor. The letter must identify the activity, the dates of participation, and hours in attendance.
